Peanut burfi-How to make-Step by step photos & Video

Ingredients
- Peanut - 1 cup
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Ghee - 2 tbsp
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Method
- Grease the tray with ghee or put buttersheet in a tray
- Roast peanut on low-medium flame until crisp [dont burn]
- Let it cool then peel off the sking
- Put it in a mixie jar, grind only 50 sec.
- Heat sugar, water in a pan, boil until 1 string consistency
- Add ground peanut powder, ghee cook for 5 min or until the mixture start leaving the pan
- Add cardamom powder, mix well then cut off heat
- Transfer ths mixture into ghee greased tray, Spread evenly, let it set [Apr. 1 hour]
- Then cut into desired shapes, airtight container, Use it for 2 weeks
Notes & tips
- You can use ghee roasted coconut also
- You can add rose syrup for rose peanut burfi
- For kesar peanut burfi add saffron water.
- For green peanut burfi add green tea powder or paan/betel leaves
