Ingredients
- Thinai [Foxtail millet ] – 1 cup
- Honey – ½ cup
- Green Cardamom-2
- Cashewnuts – 5
- Saffron, pistachio for garnishing
Preparation
- Wash & soak thinai for 2 hours.
- Drain water completely then spread over the cotton cloth to absorb extra moisture on the rice.
- Dry roast Thinai arisi till you get nice aroma [Apr. 4 to 5 min], let it cool then finely grind
- In a bowl add ground thinai powder mixture & honey, mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal size ladoos.
- Store it in an airtight container use within 5 days.

Put roasted thinai rice, coarsely grind
Coarsely ground thinai flour ready
Transfer thinai flour in a bowl
Add honey
Mix well
Mixture ready, make balls

Garnish with pista
