Thinai laddu | Foxtail millet honey sweet balls-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Thinai [Foxtail millet ] – 1 cup
- Honey – ½ cup
- Green Cardamom-2
- Cashewnuts – 5
- Desiccated coconut – 3 tbsp (Optional)
Preparation
- Wash Thinai arisi.
- Drain water completely then spread over the cotton cloth to absorb extra moisture on the rice.
- Dry roast Thinai arisi till you get nice aroma [Apr. 4 to 5 min], let it cool then finely grind with cardamom seeds.
- Or Break the cardamom shell, add the seeds & brown sugar in a mixer jar & finely grind.
- Heat ghee in a pan roast cashew nuts & desiccated coconut then finely chop cashews
- In a bowl add ground thinai powder mixture, honey, desiccated coconut, & chopped cashew nuts mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal size ladoos.
- Store it in an airtight container use within 3 days.

Wash thinai arisi, drain water completely
Dry roast thinai rice till you get nice aroma
Now thinai arisi is ready, let it cool
Add thinai, cardamom seeds in a mixer jar & finely grind
Freshly ground roasted thinai powder is ready
Ghee roast cashewnuts
Ghee roast desiccated coconut
In a bowl add desiccated coconut & roasted nuts
Add thinai powder mix well
Add honey
Add ghee mix well & make lemon size laddu
