Ingredients
- Sprouted Green gram[pachai payaru, matki dal]– 1 cup
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tbsp
- Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 3 tbsp [chopped]
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
For roasting & grinding
- Green chilli – ½ [chopped]
- Coriander leaves – 3 tbsp [chopped]
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Fennel seeds - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
- Cinnamon stick – ½
- Coconut - 1 tbsp
- Cloves - 2
- Dry red chilli - 1
- Put all these ingredients in a mixer jar & coarsely grind with out water
Preparation
- Steam sprouted green gram for 3 min .
- Heat pan with oil add mustard seeds, Bengal gram and urad dal.
- Add curry leaves, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, & ground mixture saute.
- Add steamed green gram sprouts& salt mix well.
- Add grated coconut mix well & cut off heat then serve hot with rice.
