For kofta-Ingredients
- Potato - 3
- Paneer- 1/4 cup
- Rice flour or corn flour – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Kasoori methi - 1 tbsp
- Cashews, raisins - 2 tbsp
- Oil for shallow frying
For gravy-Ingredients
- Spinach – 1 bunch
- Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
- Ginger – 1 tbsp [grated]
- Garlic – 1 tbsp [grated]
- Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped or slit]
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon, cloves, cardamom [spices]
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Kasoori methi – 1 tbsp
- Garam masala powder - 1t bsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 1 tbsp
- Butter/ghee – 1 tbsp
Method for spinach gravy
- Wash spinach leaves.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add onion, ginger & garlic saute well.
- Add spinach leaves saute.
- Add water cook for 2 min
- Then gridn to fine puree
- Heat oil, butter in a pan, add cumin, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom
- Add green chilli, ground puree, coriander powder, red chilli powder, kasoori methi powder and garam masala & mix well.
- Boil for 3 min, Then add deep fried koftas and cook a min.
- Finally add butter and serve hot.

Palak paneer kofta curry
Spinch gravy with paneer balls
Add onion, garlic, ginger
Add spinach leaves
Saute for 1 min
Add water, cook till soft
Let it cool
Grind to fine puree
Palak puree ready
Mash Boiled potatoes
Grate 1/4 cup paneer
Add hing
Add nuts
Add corn flour
Make dough, divide balls
Sprinkle corn flour to avoid sticking
Perfect paneer balls
Shallow fry balls
Fry only on medium flame, till crisp and godlen brown
Add ghee, oil, cumin, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon
Add puree, turmeric, coriander, garam masala, red chilli powder, kasoori methi, salt
Mix well
Boil for 2 min
Add kofta, cook for 1 min
Perfect healthy gravy ready
