Sri lankan coconut roti | Sri lankan chapati recipe

Ingredients
- Wheat flour -1 cup
- Onion – 1 [Finely chopped]
- Coconut – 2 tbsp [grated]
- Curry leaves, coriander leaves – 2 tbsp [Finely chopped]
- Green chilli – 1 [Finely chopped]
- Garlic – 1 [Finely chopped]
- Ginger- ½ tbsp [Finely chopped]
- Butter – 1 inch cube
- Sugar a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients together and make dough, cover it using white cotton cloth then leave it for 30 min.
- Equally divide the dough and make small balls.
- Sprinkle flour over the balls, flatten it, roll over and make roti as usual.
- Serve hot with tomato gravy.
Tip
- Add 1 tbsp of curd/ yogurt when making dough [for softness].
