Ingredients
- Kambu[Pearl millet, Bajra]– 1 cup
- Idli rice - 1 cup
- Toor dal – ½ cup
- Bengal gram – ½ cup
- Dry red chilli -3
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Preparation Method
- Wash & soak kambu, toor dal, & bengal gram, overnight or 5 hours then drain water.
- Put soaked ingredients in a mixer jar & coarsely grind with cumin seeds, garlic, dry red chilli & enough water
- In a bowl add ground mixture, salt, mix well.
- Heat iron dosa tawa pour batter, sprinkle 1 tbsp of oil , evenly apread.
- Cover lid & cook both sides for 3 min.
- Then serve hot with chutney, avial or grated jaggery.

Wash
Pour water, soak it for 5 hours
After 5 hours, drain water
Add cumin seeds
Add garlic
Add dry red chilli
Add salt
Put soaked ingredients in a mixer jar, finely grind with enough water
Pour ground batter in a bowl
Mix well, add water if required
Heat iron dosa tawa, pour batter
Evenly Spread
Pour 1 tbsp oil, cover lid, cook for 3 min[each siade]
Flip over & cook both sides
Kambu adai is ready
