Sweet corn raita By

Ingredients

  • Sweet corn– ½ cup [grated]
  • Curd / Yogurt – 1 cup [fresh]
  • Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
  • Roasted Cumin powder – ½ tsp [Dry roast cumin seeds, let it cool & grind to fine powder in a stone mortar.
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
  • Onion - 2 tbsp [chopped]
  • Mustard Seeds– ½ tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Ginger – ½ tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Green chilli – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
  • Oil – 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Stram sweet corn till soft.
  • Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan add mustard seeds, ginger, green chilli, asafoetida, & curry leaves
  • Add Sweet corn kernels, & salt mix well
  • In a bowl add curd, 1 tbsp sugar, add seasoned corn, red chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, coriander leaves mix well
  • Serve immediately with chapati or pulao, biryani
