Cuisine Style: Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore, South India | Cooking Time: 15 minutes | To Serve: 4 | Take with: Idli, Dosa, Rice, Chapathi | Type : Dry curry, varuval.

Ingredients

  • Cauliflower – 1 cup
  • Onion – 1 [chopped]
  • Garlic -½ tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water as needed

Method

  • Break the whole cauliflower into medium florets.
  • Take a bowl, pour warm water & add salt & turmeric powder mix well then put cauliflower & leave it for 5 min then drain water.
  • Heat water, add turmeric, red chilli powder & salt let it boil.
  • Add cauliflower cook for 3 to 4 min.
  • Heat oil in a pan then add garlic & curry leaves sauté for a min..
  • Add cauliflower, red chilli powder, pepper powder roast till crisp.
  • Finally add coriander leaves cut off heat & serve hot.
