Samai adai | little millet lentil adai dosa | Samak rice adai-How to make-Video

Ingredients
- Samak rice [Samai arisi] – 2 cup
- Toor dal [Thuvaram paruppu] – ½ cup
- Bengal gram [kadalai paruppu,chana dal]– ½ cup
- Dry red chilli – 2 to 3
- Curry leaves - 2 spring [chopped]
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Coconut – 3 tbsp [grated]
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil – 3 tbsp
Method
- Wash and soak toor dal, Bengal gram and samai rice overnight.
- Then drain water and coarsely grind with ¼ cup of water, dry red chilli, garlic, cumin seeds.
- Then add curry leaves, salt & coconut mix well.
- Heat iron dosa tawa then pour batter & spread like a usual dosa shape.
- Then pour 1 tbsp of oil around the adai, cover lid & cook both sides for about 3 min.
- Once samai adai is ready serve hot with coconut chutney, idli podi, or grated jaggery.

Put soaked samai rice, bengal gram, toor dal, salt, cumin, dry red chilli, garlic in a mixer jar, then coarsely grind
Add coconut, curry leaves mix well.
Heat iron dosa tawa, Pour samai adai batter, spread, then pour 1 tbsp of oil cook both sides
Flip over & cook other side [ 3 min]
Samai rice paruppu adai is ready, serve hot with grated jaggery
