Ingredients
- Aval [Poha, Flattened rice] – 1 cup
- Brown sugar – ½ cup
- Ghee – ¼ cup
- Green Cardamom-2
- Cashewnuts – 5
- Almonds – 5
- Pistachios – 5
- Raisins – 6
Preparation
- Dry roast poha till you get nice aroma [Apr. 4 to 5 min], let it cool then finely grind.
- Break the cardamom shell; add the seeds & brown sugar in a mixer jar & finely grind.
- Heat ghee in a pan roast cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, & raisins then finely chop
- Heat ghee in a pan then melt it.
- In a bowl add ground poha mixture, brown sugar cardamom mixture, chopped nuts, raisins & ghee mix well.
- Divide the mixture into equal size ladoos.
- Store it in an airtight container use within 5 days
Tip
- You can use jaggery, white sugar or coconut for another variation
