Red rice mani kolukattai | Red Rice Goli Idli -How to make-Step by step photos & video

Ingredients
- Red rice flour - 1 cup
- Water- 1.5 cup
- Coconut - 2 tbsp
- Salt to tate
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- For seasoning:-
- Mustard, chana dal, urad dal- 1 tbsp
- Green chilli -1
- Curry leaves - 1 spring
- Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
- Coconut - 2 tbsp
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Oil -1 tbsp
- Hing - 1/2 tsp
Method
- Heat pan, add water, salt, oil, boil
- Add red rice flour, mix well, make soft dough [Apr 3 min]
- Then cover lid, leave it for 5 min
- Then knead it for 1 min
- Then divide the dough into equal size balls
- Place small balls in a idli plates, steam it for 10 min
- Divide the dough into equal size balls [small gooseberry size].
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds & let it splutter.
- Then add urad dal sauté well
- Add green chilli , ginger & curry leaves sauté gently.
- Add coconut saute for 3 min
- Then add steamed red rice balls saute for 3 min
- Finally add chopped coriander leaves & coconut then cut off heat serve hot
