Crispy onion pakoda | Vengaya pakoda | Pyaz ke pakode-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Onion – 3 [sliced]
- Gram flour [Besan, kadalai maavu] - ½ cup
- Rice flour - 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Curry leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Asafoetida[Hing] – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Water as needed
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add all ingredients without oil mix well make sticky dough.
- Heat enough oil in a pan sprinkle onion pakoda mixture
- Deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
- Once its ready remove from oil drain on absorbent paper then serve hot

Red onion
In a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, turmeric, red chilli powder, asafetida, salt mix well
Add sliced onion, curry leaves, coriander leaves mix well
Mix well all the ingredients
Add water slowly mix well, make pakoda soft sticky pakoda mixture
Sprinkle pakoda mixture over the hot oil
Deep fry pakodas
Deep fry on medium hot oil
Deep fry till crisp and golden brown
Crispy pakoda is now golden brown & crisp, remove from oil
Drain on absorbent paper
Crispy pyaz ki pakodi, serve hot
