Crispy cauliflower pakoda | Gobi pakora-How to make-Step by step photos & video

Ingredients
- Cauliflower florets–1 cup
- Gram flour [Besan, kadalai maavu] - 1/4cup
- Rice flour - 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
- Asafoetida[Hing] – ¼ tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Water as needed
Preparation Method
- Wash cauliflower florets for 3 to 4 times.
- Heat water, add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder & cauliflower florets, cook for 3 to 4 min.
- Then strain water from cauliflower & add cold water wash again to avoid further cooking.
- In a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, turmeric, red chilli powder, asafotida, 1 tbsp hot oil mix well.
- Add water, make flowing consistency batter without lumps.
- Heat enough oil in a pan, dip cauliflower florets in gram flour batter, drop it in hot oil, deep fry till crisp and golden brown.
- Once its ready remove it from oil drain on absorbent paper then serve hot with green chutney, tomato sauce or chilli sauce

Take 1 cup cauliflower florets [1/4 flower]
Boil water, add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder
Add cauliflower boil for 3 min
Drain water, wash with cold water
In a bowl add rice flour, gram flour
Add turmeric, red chilli powder, asafoetida
Add salt
Add water, make batter
Batter ready, keep it aside
Dip cauliflower in gram flour batter
Drop it in hot oil
Deep fry till and golden brown
Now its ready, remove it from oil

Serve hot with sauce or green chutney
