Ingredients

  • For boiling marinating babycorn:-
  • Babycorn - 200 gram
  • Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  • Curd - 3 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Coriander -1 tbsp
  • Garam masala - 1 tbsp
  • KAsoori methi - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger, garlic, geen chilli paste- 1 tbsp
  • Lemon - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • For batter:-
  • Maida - 3 tbsp
  • Corn flour -2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required
  • Bread crumbs- 1/4 cup

Preparation Method

  • Wash & boil baby corn with salt, turmeric, red chilli powder
  • Then drain water completely.
  • In a bowl add curd, ginger, garlic, green chilli, kasoori methi, garam masala, red chilli powder , salt mix well
  • Add boiled baby corn, mix well, marinate for 10 min.
  • In a bowl add maida , corn flour, salt, & water mix well then make bajji consistency batter
  • Dip marinated baby corn with batter, coat with bread crumbs & deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
  • Once its ready remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper then serve hot with tomato sauce, schezwan sauce or green chutney.
