Vegetarian meatballs manchurian style | Veg besan manchurian dry

For veg meatballs [Besan veg koftas]-Ingredients
- Gram flour [Besan] – ¼ cup
- Rice flour – 2 tbsp
- Maida – 2 tbsp
- Bread crumbs – 2 tbsp
- Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
- Ginger & Garlic – 1 tbsp each [grated]
- Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
- Green, red, yellow capsicum – 4 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Carrot – 1 tbsp [grated]
- Pepper powder – ¼ tsp
- Garam masala – ½ tsp
- Sugar a pinch
- Lemon juice – ½ tbsp
- Coriander leaves - 3 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep fry
Method for making veg meatballs
- Heat oil in a pan add onion, ginger, garlic & green chilli sauté. Add capsicum & carrot sauté gently then cut off heat.
- In a bowl add sautéed ingredients, gram flour, maida, rice flour & salt mix well.
- Then add bread crumbs, coriander leaves, sugar, Garam masala, pepper powder mix well & make soft dough.
- Divide the dough in to equal lemon size balls. Then deep fry in medium hot oil till golden brown.
For seasoning & dry curry-Ingredients
- Red, yellow, green capsicum – ¼ cup
- Onion – 2 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Green chilli – 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Ginger & garlic – 1 tbsp [grated]
- Rice flour – ½ tbsp
- Red chilli paste – 2 tbsp
- Pepper powder- ¼ tsp
- Tomato sauce – ½ cup
- Soya sauce – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Sugar a pinch
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water- 2 tbsp
Method-Final Cut
- Heat oil in a pan add onion, ginger, garlic & green chilli sauté. Add capsicum sauté gently.
- Add red chilli paste, tomato & soya sauce mix well. Then add pepper powder, soya sauce, rice flour & water mix well & let it boil.
- Add sugar, fried veg meat balls sauté for 2 min. Then cut off heat serve hot.
