Kurkuri bhindi fry | Moru moru vendakkai fry-how to make-step by step photos

Ingredients
- Okra [ladies finger, bhindi] - 200 g
- Rice flour - 5 tbsp
- Bengal gram flour [Gram flour, besan flour, Kadalai maavu]- 4 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - ½ tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – ½ tbsp
- Salt as needed
- Oil for deep frying
- Water - 2 tbsp
Method
- Wash & Cut okra into equal size pieces
- In a bowl take okra, rice flour, bengal gram flour,red chilli powder, turmeric powder, Asafetida, salt & 3 tbsp water mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan add okra pieces, deep fry till light brown.
- Once its ready, take it out.
- Drain on absorbent paper, serve hot with tea, coffee or rice
How to make Kurkuri bhindi fry step by step photos
Add okra pieces
Add salt
Add red chilli & turmeric powder
Mix well
Add rice flour and gram flour
Add 3 tbsp of water mix well
Heat oil in a pan, add okra pieces
Deep fry till crisp and golden brown
Now its ready, remove it from oil
Drain on absorbent paper
Crispy okra fry ready
Serve hot with rice, tea or coffee
