Ingredients
- Kollu [horse gram] –1/4 cup
- Toor dal –1/4 cup
- Urad dal – 2 tbsp
- Moong dal - 1/4 cup
- Idli rice – 1.5 cup
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Garlic – 2 cloves
- Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
- Dry red chilli – 3
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed.
Method
- Wash and Soak horse gram, toor dal, moong dal, urad dal, and idli rice overnight then drain water.
- In a mixer jar add soaked ingredients, garlic, cumin seed, dry red chilli, and salt then coarsely grind with water.
- Heat iron dosa tawa, pour batter, evenly spread & drizzle 1 tbsp oil around the adai, cook till crisp & golden brown.
- Flip over & Cook both sides [apr 3 min each side] then serve hot with coconut chutney, pickle or jaggery.

Kollu, Idli rice, urad dal, toor dal, moong dal
Add all ingredients in a bowl, wash 2 to 3 times. Add water soak it for 5 hours
After 5 hours
Drain water
Add garlic, dry red chilli, turmeric, salt
Add curry leaves
In a mixie jar, add all ingredients
Add water, coarsely grind
Transfer batter to a bowl
Add salt
Mix well
Cover lid, leave it for fermentation[Apr 5 hours]
After fermentation, mix well
Heat iron dosa tawa, pour batter
Evenly spread
Pour 1 tbsp oil around adai dosa
Cook both sides for 3 min
Now its ready
Cut off heat, remove it from dosa tawa
