Elantha vadai | jujube vada

Ingredients
- Indian jujube[elantha pazham]- 1 cup
- Chilli powder - 1 tbsp
- Asafotida - 1/4 tsp
- Salt -1/4 tsp
- Jaggery-3 tbsp [grated]
- Tamarind paste - 1 tbsp
Preparation
- Wash & remove seeds [for kids] or [you can make elantha vada with seeds]
- In a stone mortar add all ingredients grind to smooth paste
- Once its ready, store in an airtight container use within 2 weeks
- For second variation:-Take olemon size balls, spread over the cotton cloth let it dry out in the sunlight for 2 to 3 days then use
- For 3 rd variation:- In a mixie jar, add all ingredients, coarsely grind
- Heat 1 tbsp sesame oil in a pan, add ground ingredients, saute for 5 min, then let it cool in room temperature, store in an airtight container, use within 1 week
