Ingredients
- Cumin seeds -1 cup
- Corainder seeds - 1 cup
- Peppercorns - 1/2 cup
- Asafoetida-1 tbsp
- Dry red chilli - 3
- Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
- Urad dal - 1.5 tbsp
- Curry leaves[karuveppilai] - 2 springs
Preparation
- Dry roast all ingredients except asafoetida and turmeric powder.
- Put all roasted ingredients, asafoetida, turmeric powder finely grind
- Once rasam powder ready, let ti cool then store in an airtight container use within one month
