Ingredients
- Corn flour -1 cup
- Water- 2 cups
- Beetroot juice – 1 cup
- Cardamom powder-1 tbsp
- Pumpkin seeds - 1 tbsp
- Ghee- 1/4 cup
Ingredients for sugar syrup
- Sugar –2 cups
- Water - 1 cup
Preparation
- In a bowl add 1 cup corn flour, 2 cups water & 1 cup beetroot juice mix well without lumps
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan add pumpkin seeds, roast then keep it aside.
- In the same pan add 2 cups sugar, 1 cup water mix well, let it melt & cook till bubbles comes out from the sugar syrup.
- Add 1 tbsp ghee mix well.
- Pour cornflour mixture, & stir continuously without lumps.
- Add 2 tbsp ghee stir well till it thickens in low to medium flame for 15 min.
- When mixture becomes thick, glossy & the mixture starts leaving the pan, then add cardamom powder & remaining ghee.
- Add roasted nuts & cut off heat.
- Pour the mixture into the ghee greased tray, evenly spread, garnish with pumpkin seeds, leave it for 1 hour till set
- Then cut into desired shapes & serve

Wash, cut beetroot into cubes, then grind to fine puree
Now its ready, drain without lumps
Take 1 cup corn flour
Add 2 cups of water
Add 1 cup beetroot juice mix well

For sugar syrup, add2 cups of sugar
Add 1 cup water
Add ghee, let it boil for 5 min
Now its ready
Add beetroot corn flour mixture
Stir well on low flame
Stir continuously without lumps
Now its thick
Add ghee stir well
Now its ready, thick and glossy
Add cardamom powder
Add nuts
Mix well
Now its ready, cut off heat
Grease tray with ghee
Pour mixture, evenly spread
Sprinkle pumpkin seeds
Let it set[Apr 30 min to 1 hour]
De-mould
De-mould from tray

Then cut into desired shapes
