Ingredients

  • Cauliflower -1 cup or ½ flower
  • Spring onion – 1 cup
  • Tomato – 2 [chopped]
  • Onion – 1 [finely chopped or sliced]
  • Ginger & garlic – 1 tbsp [grated]
  • Green chilli – 1 finely chopped
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
  • Cumin & pepper powder – ½ tbsp
  • Garam masala – ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar a pinch
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water as needed

Method

  • Break the whole cauliflower into medium florets.
  • Take a bowl, pour warm water & add salt mix well then put cauliflower & leave it for 5 min then drain water. Then parboil cauliflower.
  • Heat pan with oil, add cumin seeds. Then add onion, ginger and garlic sauté till raw smell out.
  • Add green chilli, & tomato sauté till soft. Then add turmeric & red chilli powder mix well. Add 3 tbsp of water mix well.
  • Add cauliflower sauté. Then add cumin, coriander & pepper powder mix well. Add spring onion, salt, sugar & garam masala sauté.
  • Add coriander leaves & cut off heat. Serve hot with rice or chapati.
