Bombay Karachi halwa with jaggery-How to make-Step by step photos and video

Ingredients
- Corn flour -1 cup
- Water- 3 cups
- Jaggery - 1 cup
- Cardamom powder-1 tbsp
- Pumpkin seeds - 1 tbsp
- Pista, cashews, almonds - 2 tbsp
- Ghee- 4 tbsp
Preparation
- In a bowl add 1 cup corn flour, 3 cups water mix well without lumps
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan add pumpkin seeds, nuts, roast then keep it aside.
- In the same pan add jaggery, 1/4 cup water mix well, let it melt & cook till for 5 min
- Add 1 tbsp ghee mix well.
- Pour cornflour mixture, & stir continuously without lumps.
- Add 2 tbsp ghee stir well till it thickens in low to medium flame for 15 min.
- When mixture becomes thick, glossy & the mixture starts leaving the pan, then add cardamom powder & remaining ghee.
- Add roasted nuts & cut off heat.
- Pour the mixture into the ghee greased tray, evenly spread, garnish with pumpkin seeds, leave it for 1 hour till set
- Then cut into desired shapes & serve

Corn flour jaggery halwa
In a bowl add corn flour
Add 3 cups of water
Mix well without lumps
Grease tray with ghee
Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan add nuts ,roast
Roast till light brown
Heat same pan add jaggery
Add water, boil for 5 min
Jaggery syrup ready
Add corn flour mixture
Add orange food color [optional]
Mix well till it thickens & glossy consistency
Add ghee, cook til lthe mixture start leaving the pan
Now its ready 90 percent
Add cardamom powder
Add ghee till shiny
Stir well on medium flame
Add nuts
Mix well
Pour into tray
Evenly spread
Let it set
Slice and serve
Cut into desired shapes
