Ingredients
- Badam[Almond] -1 cup
- Jaggery- `3/4 cup
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Cardamom powder-1 tbsp
- Ghee- 1/4 cup
Preparation
- Wash and soak almonds in warm water for 3 to 4 hours
- After 3 hours peel off the almond skin.
- Add almonds in a mixie jar coarsely grind with water or milk.
- Heat 3 tbsp ghee in a pan, add ground almond saute for 3 min.
- Heat another pan, add jagger & water, cook for 3 min
- Or you can make soft ball consistency
- Strain and add jaggery mixture into almond mixture cook till it thickens or the mixture start leaving the pan
- Once its ready, Add cardamom powder mix well
- Pour the mixture into the ghee greased tray, evenly spread, then let it set
- Then cut into desired shapes, store in an airtight contianer, use wihtin 1 week

Soft badam jaggery katli
Wash almond 2 to 3 times
Add hot water, soak it for 3 hours
Peel off almond
Soft almonds ready
Put it in a mixie jar
Add water, finely grind
Ground mixture ready
Heat pan, add 3 tbsp ghee
Add almond mixture
Sauce for 3 min
Heat pan, add jaggery
Add water
Boil for 2 min
Cook on medium flame
Now its ready, cut off heat
Add jaggery syrup
Mix well without lumps
Stir on medium flame
Add ghee
Grease plates with ghee
Evenly spread
Add cardamom powder
Stri well
Add ghee
Cook till the mixture start leaving the pan
3/4 th ready
Thick consistency mixture ready
Delicicous, no white sugar halwa
Now its ready
Pour into tray
Evenly spread
Let it set
Cut into desired shapes
Store in an airtight contianer, use wihtin 1 week
