Aloo matar puri masala | Green peas potato curry for poori recipe

Ingredients
- Aloo [Potato] – 2 [boiled, cut into cubes]
- Green peas [Matar] – 1 cup [boiled]
- Tomato -1 [chopped]
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Green chilli – 1 or 2
- Ginger & garlic – 1 tbsp [Each, chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tsp [dry roast coriander seeds & grind to fine powder]
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Method
- Heat oil in a pan; add mustard seed & let it splutter. Then add cumin seed, Bengal gram and urad dal.
- Add onion sauté till soft then add ginger and garlic.
- Add green chilli, curry leaves and tomato sauté till soft.
- Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, and potato mix well. Then add ½ cup of water mix well.
- Then add boiled green peas & coriander powder mix well & let it boil.
- Finally add salt mix well then cut off heat. Sprinkle coriander leaves, serve hot with poori.
