Ingredients
- Pearl millet flour [kambu maavu kurunai]- 1 cup [Coarsely grinded Bajra]
- Water – 3 cups
- Salt to taste
- Sambar onion – 2 [peeled, chopped]
- Green chilli – 1 [chopped]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Uppu mangai – 2 slices [Raw mango, red chilli powder, salt]
Preparation
- Heat water in a pan & let it boil then add salt.
- When boiling add kambu kurunai maavu slowly & stir continuously for about 10 min. Then cut off heat
- Make ball shape out off the mixture & then immerse the balls in water about 2 to 4 hours
- In a bowl add kambu balls, curd or buttermilk, salt & enough water mix well.[Consistency should be semi solid or medium liquid]
- Then add onion, curry leaves & green chilli mix well & serve immediately with uppu mangai

Boil water
Add kambu maavu kurunai stir continuously
Now its ready, cut off heat, make balls then put it in a cold water, leave it for 10 min
Add prepared kambu balls in a bowl, addsalt, buttermilk or curd mix well, add water if required then add onion, green chilli, curry leaves mix well & serve
