Ingredients
- Wheat rava [Godhumai ravai, small] - 1 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Water – 1 cup [optional]
- Saffron – few
- Jaggery – ½ cup
- Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 7
- Raisins - 8
- Pistachio - 5
- Almonds [sliced] - 6
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat pan with ghee then roast cashew nuts, raisins, pistachio and almonds keep it aside.
- In the same pan add wheat rava roast till you get nice aroma.
- Then add milk, water, roasted wheat rava & cook till soft [apr 15 to 20 min].
- Then add jaggery / sugar mix well.
- Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins, pistachio and almonds slices.
- Finally add cardamom powder & saffron then cut off heat.
- Serve hot or cold.
