Ingredients

  • Wheat flour– 1 cup
  • Jaggery –3/4 to 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
  • Ghee – 1/2 cup

Preparation

  • Heat pan add sesame seeds, roast for 4 min.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add wheat flour saute till you get nice aroma.
  • Heat jaggery & water in a pan, let it boil for 3 min.
  • Then strain with out lumps.
  • Add jaggery syrup into the wheat flour mixture, mix well.
  • Add cardamom powder, roasted sesame seeds.
  • Then make equal lemon size ladoos
  • Garnish nuts & place it in an airtight container use within 3 days.

Notes and variations

  • Dont burn the wheat flour while roasting
  • Mixture is too dry, You can add saffron milk or ghee to adjust the consistency of mixture.
  • Mixture is too wet or runny add badam powder, milk powder, or roasted atta, rava or ragi flour.
  • For healthy variation:- rava wheat ladoo, wheat coconut ladoo, ragi wheat ladoo, wheat condensed milk ladoo, wheat sugar ladoo, wheat carrot ladoo, wheat bajra ladoo, wheat milk powder ladoo, wheat kaju ladoo, wheat badam ladoo, wheat sesame ladoo, wheats groundnut ladoo
