Ingredients

  • Tomato – 3 [chopped]
  • Onion – 2 [sliced]
  • Coconut – 1 tbsp [grated]
  • Dry red chilli - 2
  • Garlic – 3 cloves
  • Corainder seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder -1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil - 2 tbsp

Seasoning

  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Oil - 1 tbsp

Method

  • Heat pan with oil add onion sauté well then add garlic, coriander seeds, red chilli and coconut sauté well.
  • Add tomato sauté till raw smell out. Cut off heat add salt and sugar. Then put it in blender make fine paste.
  • Heat pan with oil add mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
  • Add ground tomato mixture, ater, red chilli pwoder & turmeric powder let it boil for 5 min
  • Then cut off heat, serve hot with idli, dosa or uthappam
