For rice- Add 2 cups of rice
Wash 2 to 3 times then drain water
add 5 cups of water
Cover lid, put weight
Cook for 3 to 4 whistles
Rice ready
For instant lemon rasam
In a bowl add water, turmeric, salt, coriander, green chilli, curry leaves
Heat 1 tbsp oil, add mustard, cumin, ginger, garlic, asafoetida
Add prepared mixture
Add rasam powder
Boil
CUt off heat, add lemon juice
Add coriander leaves
Foe peerkangai sambar
Wash & chop peerkangai
Heat pan, add oil, mustard, chana dal, urad dal, onion, garlic, curry leaves, green chilli, asafoetida
Add peerkangai
Add tomato
Add turmeric, red chilli powder
Add sambar powder
Add water
, cook till soft
Add toor, water in a pressure cooker
Add turmeric powder
Add 1 tsp sesame oil
Cover lid, cook for 4 whistles
Add boiled toor dal
Add salt
Boil for 3 min
Add tamarind mixture, boil for 5 min
Add coriander leaves, cut off heat
Carrot cabbage poriyal
Take 1/2 cabbage [muttaikose]
Chop
Chop carrot
Heat 1 tbsp oil, add mustard, chana dal, urad dal, asafoetida, green chilli, curry leaves
Add carrot , cabbage, red chilli powder, salt, saute for 3 min
add water, cook till soft
Add coconut, cut of heat
