Soya beans masala sundal-Step by step photos & Video

Ingredients
- Soya beans - 1 cup
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coconut - 2 tbsp [grated]
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
For masala
- Garlic – 3 cloves
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Green chilli – 1 [chopped]
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Mint leaves - 2 spring
- Salt to taste
- Cinnamon - 1/4 stick
- cloves - 1
- cardamom - 2
- fennel - 1 tsp
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Put all ingredients in a mixie jar, coarsely grind without water
Preparation
- Wash & soak Soya beans overnight
- Put soaked soya beans, salt & water in a pressure cooker, cook for 4 whistles
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, let it sputter.
- Add curry leaves, ground mixture sauté.
- Add soya beans, mix well.
- Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, & salt sauté.
- Finally add coriander leaves mix well then cut off heat, serve hot with tea, coffee, or rice

Soya beans masala sundal
Take dried soya beans
Add water, soak it for overnight
SOaked soya beans ready
Add soaked soya beans in a pressure cooker
Add water
Add salt
Cover lid, cook for 3 to 4 whistles on medium flame
Now its ready, cut off heat
Perfectly cooked, drain water
Soft non-sticky cooked soya beans ready
In a mixie jar add green chilli
Add garlic, ginger, mint leaves, coriander leaves
ADd cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, cumin, fennel
Add salt
Coarsely grind
Heat pan, add 1 tbsp oil
Add mustard seeds
Add ground mixture
Add asafoetida
Add turmeric powder
Add red chilli powder
saute for a min
Add cooked soya beans, coconut
Saute for 3 min
Now its ready, cut off heat
Transfer sundal to a bowl
Serve hot
