How to make Rice & dal kurkure kurkure video
Ingredients
- Basmati rice -1 cup
- Chana dal - 3/4 cup to 1 cup
- Dry red chilli- 2
- Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
- Maida - 2 tbsp
- Corn flour - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Green chilli - 1
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Preparation
- In a bowl add basmati rice, chana dal, dr y red chilli, wash & soak for 5 hours
- Drain water, put it in a mixie jar, add garlic, tomato sauce, green chilli, turmeric powder, grind to fine batter
- In a mixie jar add ground mixture, salt, corn flour, & maida mix well.
- Put this mixture into zip lock cover
- Heat oil in a pan, squeeze over oil, deep fry till crispy and golden brown
- Once its ready, remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper
- Serve hot with tomato sauce, chilli sauce or green chutney
How to make Rice & dal kurkure-Step by step photos
In a bowl add basmathi rice & chana dal
Add dry red chilli, soak it for 5 hours
5 hours later, drain water
In amixie soaked rice, chana dal, dry red chilli, green chilli, garlic, turmeric & salt
Add tomato sauce
Add water, finely grind to smooth batter
Now its ready
Add maida [ 2 tbsp]
Add corn flour
Mix well
Put it in a ziplock pouch
Squeeze over the oil
Deep fry till crisp & golden brown
Fry both sides
Now its raedy, remove it from oil
Drain on absorbent paper, add salt
Sprinkle red chilli powder
Sprinkle chat masala powder
Super crispy kurkrue ready
Serve hot with tea
