Peanut masala | Crispy groundnut pakora-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Peanut [Moongphali, groundnut, nilakadalai]– 1 cup
- Gram flour - 1/2 cup
- Rice flour – 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder - ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Chaat masala powder– 1 tbsp
- Asafoetida[Hing, perungayam]- 1/4 tsp
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
- Water - 3 tbsp
Preparation
- Heat pan add groundnut, roast for 5 min.
- In a bowl add gram flour, rice flour, chat masala pwoder, asafoetida, red chilli, turmeric powder, salt & oil mix well
- Add peanut & 3 tbsp of water mix well [dont add too much water].
- Heat oil in a pan, sprinkle peanut mixture, deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
- Once its ready remove from oil & drain on absorbent paper.
- Serve hot with curd rice, evening snack, tea or coffee

Roast peanut for 5 min or you can soak it for 5 min
In a bowl, add gram flour & rice flour
Add salt
Add Red chilli powder & turmeric powder
Add asafoetida
Add Chaat masala
Add roasted peanut
Add Oil mix well
Mix well
Add water mix well.
Heat oil, sprinkle masala peanut & deep fry
Deep fry till crisp and golden brown
Crispy peanut ready, drain on absorbent paper
Fry curry leaves
Sprinkle curry leaves and serve with tea or coffee
