How to make Eggless dates cake [No oven, No butter, No sugar] video
Ingredients
- Wheat flour- 1 & 1/4 cup
- Dates - 1 cup
- Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
- Fresh Curd- 1/2 cup
- Coconut oil / sunflower oil / groundnut oil- 1/2 cup
- Salt- 1/4 tsp
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Milk - 1/4 to 1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Chocolate frosting
- Powdered sugar - 2 cups
- Softened butter - 1/2 cup
- Cocoa powder - 2 tbsp
- In a bowl, add soften unsalted butter, beat till fluffy
- Add powdered sugar,& cocoa powder beat till smooth & fluffy
Preparation
- Take 5 littre pressure cooker.
- Remove gasket & whistle from the pressure cooker lid.
- Then place grid.
- Preheat pressure cooker for 5 to 10 min on medium flame.
- Wash dates, remove seeds then soak it hot water for 10 min
- Then put it in a mixer jar, add milk then grind to smooth paste / puree
- Grease baking tin with butter and sprinkle flour.
- In a bowl seive wheat flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda mix well.
- In a bowl add fresh curd, brown sugar, oil, vanilla essence & dates paste mix well till cream consistency
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients mixture, gently mix.
- Add milk to adjust the consistency.
- Pourdates scake batter into baking tin.
- Place it in pre-heated pressure cooker.
- Close lid & cook for 35 to 40 min on low flame.
- Once its ready carefully remove baking tin then un-mould & let it cool.
- Sprinkle cocoa powder & powdered sugar, slice and serve with tea / coffee/ milk
Note
- Before baking in pressure cooker remove gasket & whistle.

Remove gasket
Pre-heat for 10 min on low flame
Add 1 cup dates
Add hot water, soak it for 10 min
After 10 min
Put it in a mixie jar
Add milk
Finely grind
Add curd
Add brown sugar
Mix well
Add oil
Add vanilla essence
Add dates puree
Mix well
Add wheat flour
Add maida
Add baking powder
Add baking soda
Add salt
Add cocoa powder
Mix well
Add wet ingredients
Add milk
Gently mix without lumps
Pour into baking tin
Evenly spread
Place it in pre-heated pressure cooker, cook for 50 min on low flame
Afte 50 min, remove it from mold
Spongy cake ready
Add chocolate buttercream frosting
Evenly spread
Now its ready
Sprinkle roasted coconut
Sprinkle edible color balls, refrigerate for 2 hours
Then slice & serve
