Ingredients

  • Besan flour [Gram flour, kadalai maavu] – 3/4 cup
  • Powdered sugar –1/2 cup
  • Cashews, pistachios & Raisins -1 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
  • Ghee – ¼ cup

Preparation

  • Sieve gram flour without lumps.
  • Heat pan add gram flour, dry roast for 5 to 8 min or till you get nice aroma.
  • Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan roast, cashews & raisins then chop & keep it aside.
  • Heat ¼ cup ghee in a pan add roasted gram flour stir continuously on low flame till the mixture starts leaving the pan or till it thickens.
  • Add powdered sugar & roasted nuts & raisins mix well.
  • Then add cardamom powder mix well, cut off heat.
  • Garnish with cashews, raisins, or pistachios & place it in an airtight container use within 3 days.
