Thinai maavu sweet kozhukattai | Foxtail millet flour sweet dumplings

Ingredients
- Thinai maavu[Foxtail millet flour] – 1 cup
- Coconut – ½ cup [Grated]
- Jaggery – ½ cup [grated]
- Cardamom powder- ½ tbsp
- Cashew nuts – 5
- Almonds – 3
- Pistachios - 8
- Raisins [Kismiss] -10
- Ghee – 2 tbsp
- Warm water - 2 to 3 tbsp or as needed
Preparation
- Dry roast foxtail millet flour for a min.
- Heat ghee in a pan, roast cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios, raisins and then chop.
- In a bowl, add grated coconut, add roasted & chopped nuts, cardamom powder, sprinkle ghee and grated jaggery mix well.
- Drizzle enough warm water & make soft dough.
- Take a lemon size portion and fold down all fingers and press gently.
- Steam it in an Idli cooker for 8 min & serve.
