Sweet corn kurma-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Sweet corn - 1/2 cup
- Potato - 2 [cut into cubes]
- Onion – 1 [sliced]
- Green chilli – 1 [slit]
- Mustard seeds- 1 tbsp
- Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
- Bengal gram - 1 tbsp
- Urad dal - 1 tbsp
- Curry leaves -1 springs
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
For grinding ingredients
- Roasted gram[Chutney kadalai]- 1 tbsp
- Coconut – 2 tbsp [grated or small pieces]
- Green chilli -1
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Coriander leaves - 2 springs
- Fennel- 1/2 stick
- Cinnamon - 1/4
- Cloves - 2
- Pepper - 1tsp
- Cardamom- 2
- Add ingredients in a mixer jar, grind to fine paste
Method
- Steam sweet corn and boil potato till soft.
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, fennel let it crackle.
- Then add bengal gram, urad dal fry
- Add onion, & curry leaves saute
- Add boiled corn, potato, turmeric & red chilli powder saute.
- Add freshly ground paste and water let it boil.
- Serve hot with idli, dosa, chapathi, parotta

Steam sweet corn till soft
Now its ready, cut off heat
Add fennel, cloves, pepper, garlic, ginger, cinnamon
Add chutney gram, coriander
Add green chilli
Add coconut, finely grind
Ground mixture ready
Heat oil, add fennel, bay leaf, cardamom
Add onion, curry leaves, salt
Add turmeric powder
Add red chilli powder
Add boiled potato
Add boiled corn
Add ground mixture, water & boil for 5 min
Now its ready, cut off heat
