Shell macaroni with sprouts & cheese

Ingredients
- Shell macaroni or shell pasta – 1 ½ cup
- Green peas and chickpeas sprouts – ½ cup
- Tomato – 1 [finely chopped]
- Tomato sauce – 4 tbsp
- Onion – ½ [sliced]
- Garlic – 3 cloves [chopped & mashed]
- Green chilli – ½ [slit]
- Freshly ground pepper powder or crushed peppercorns – 1 tbsp
- Dried Basil leaves – 2 tbsp
- Coriander leaves [chopped] - 4 tbsp
- Lemon juice- 1 tbsp
- Cheese – 1 ½ to 2 tbsp [grated]
- Sugar a pinch
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Steam sprouts in an idli cooker till soft.
- Heat pan add water and salt & let it boil then add shell macaroni till soft. Then drain water & keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan then add onion sauté till soft. Then add garlic and green chilli sauté gently. Then add tomato and dried basils mix well.
- Add steamed chickpeas and green pea’s sprouts sauté gently. Then add boiled macaroni mix well.
- Add tomato sauce, sugar, & pepper powder mix well & leave it for a min.
- Add lemon juice mix well then cut off heat
- Sprinkle cheese, coriander leaves & pepper powder then serve hot.
