Potato bajji | Aloo pakora-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Besan [gram flour, kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Rice flour – 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Asafetida a pinch
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil – ¼ ltr [for frying]
Preparation Method
- Peel off the potato skin, wash & thinly slice
- Add gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida, red chilli & turmeric powder then add water mix well & make batter without lumps
- Add 1 tbsp of oil into gram flour batter for crispiness & fluffy
- Heat oil in a pan, dip potato slices in the prepared batter, drop it in oil, deep fry till crisp & golden brown both sides on medium hot oil
- Once its ready remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper & serve hot with tea or coffee.

Peel off the potato skin, thinly slice
Add gram flour, rice flour, asafetida & salt mix well
Add red chilli, turmeric powder mix well
Add water make batter, then add oil mix well, now bajji batter is ready
Add sliced potatoes into gram flour batter
Dip all potato slices & mix well
Heat oil, put dipped potato slices
Deep fry till crisp and golden brown
Gently flip over potato slices & fry both sides
Potato bajji is ready, remove from oil
Crispy urulaikizhangu bajji is ready, serve hot with tomato sauce
