How to make Murungaikai poriyal video
Ingredients
- Drumstick [Murungakkai ] –6 to 7
- Curry leaves – 1
- sambar Onion - 6
- Garlic – 2 cloves [mashed]
- Ginger - 1 tbsp
- Coconut - 3 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Chana dal -1 tbsp
- Urad dal - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil- 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Wash & cut Drumstick into ½ inch pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds & let it splutter.
- Then add ginger, garlic, onion, & curry leaves.
- Add Drumstick, salt, turmeric & red chilli powder sauté well.
- Add water, cover it & cook till soft
- Once its ready, add coconut, saute for a min. Then cut off heat & serve hot with rice.
