Ingredients

  • Drumstick leaves [Murungai keerai ] –1 bunch
  • Sambar onion- 6
  • Garlic - 4
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Chana dal -1 tbsp
  • Urad dal - 1 tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • Oil- 2 tbsp
  • Water as needed

Preparation

  • Wash & pluck drumstick leaves
  • In a pan, add drumstick leaves, water, salt, sambar onion, ginger, garlic, cumin, pepper, turmeric powder boil for 5 to 8 min
  • Then drain without lumps
  • Then serve hot
