Kala chana mango sundal | Chickpea raw mango sundal

Ingredients
- Kondakadalai [Kala channa, Brown chickpeas– 1 cup
- Raw mango[mangai] - 1/4 cup
- Onion – 1 [chopped]
- Garlic – 1 clove [mashed]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Green chilli – 1 [chopped]
- Coconut – 2 tbsp [grated]
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Wash & soak kala chana chickpeas overnight or 8 hours
- Then boil with turmeric, red chilli & salt till soft
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, let it sputter.
- Then add garlic, green chilli, curry leaves & asafoetida saute
- Add chopped raw mango saute for a min
- Add coconut, turmeric powder, red chilli powder sauté.
- Add boiled kala chana,mix well
- Finally add coriander leaves , cut off heat
- Then serve hot with chapatti, or rice
