Instant schezwan fried rice-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Long grain basmati rice– 1 cup [Boiled]
- Cabbage – ½ cup [Boiled]
- Carrot - 3 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Cabbage -3 tbsp [finely chopped]
- Schezwan chutney – 4 tbsp [For kids:- Use only 1 tbsp]
- Onion – 1 [finely chopped]
- Garlic - 3 Cloves [finely chopped]
- Spring onion - 2 tbsp [chopped]
- Pepper powder - 1 tbsp
- Groundnut oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Heat oil in a pan add garlic, onion sauté.
- Add carrots, capsicum, cabbage, Schezwan chutney sauté gently.
- Add basmati rice sauté well for 2 to 3 min.
- Finally add spring onion & pepper powder. Then cut off heat & serve immediately
Tip
- For variations:-You can add any veg toppings like sauted mushrooms, tofu, spinach, paneer, green peas or broccoli etc.
- You can add lemon juice & soya sauce for extra flavour

Instant schezwan fried rice ingredients
Finely chopped onion
Soak thattai payaru [cowpea] for overnight
Heat oil in a pan add garlic saute
Add onion saute
Add cabbage saute
Add carrot, capsicum saute
Add salt mix well
Add schezwan sauce
Saute well
Add basmati rice mix well
Add freshly ground pepper mix well
Finally add spring onion mix well & cut off heat
Quick schezwan veg rice is ready. serve hot with any manchurian or curry
