Broccoli pakora | Broccoli fritters-How to make-Step by step photos

Ingredients
- Broccoli - 1 cup [¼ flower]
- Besan [gram flour, kadalai maavu] – 1 cup
- Rice flour – 3 tbsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
- Asafetida a pinch
- Oil - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
- Oil – ¼ ltr [for frying]
Preparation Method
- Blanch broccoli florets with salt added boiling water, leave it for 2 min then drain water.
- Add gram flour, rice flour, salt, asafetida, red chilli & turmeric powder then add water mix well & make batter without lumps
- Add 1 tbsp of oil into gram flour batter for crispiness & fluffy
- Heat oil in a pan, dip potato slices in the prepared batter, drop it in oil, deep fry till crisp & golden brown both sides on medium hot oil
- Once its ready remove from oil, drain on absorbent paper & serve hot with tea or coffee.

Blanch broccoli for 2 min in salt added water
Drain water completely
Add gram flour, rice flour, asafetida & salt mix well
Add red chilli, turmeric powder mix well
Add water make batter then add oil mix well
Dip broccoli into the batter
Drop broccoli in hot oil
Deep fry till crisp
Flip over and deep fry
Broccoli pakora is ready remove from oil
