Ingredients

  • Green moong sprouts [Mulai payaru, sprouted green gram] – 1 cup
  • Onion – 2 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Carrot – 2 tbsp [cut into thin strips]
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For seasonining

  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Green chilli – 1 [chopped]
  • Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

Method

  • In a bowl add green gram sprouts, onion, carrot, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, lemon juice & salt mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds let it splutter, then add green chilli & curry leaves.
  • Add seasoned ingredients to sprouts mixture mix well then serve immediately.
