Spicy wheat shakarpara | Masala Sesame Shankarpali

Ingredients
- Wheat flour– 1 cup
- Ghee or butter– 1 ½ tbsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- White sesame seeds – 1 tbsp[dry rosted]
- Water as needed
- Salt to taste
- Oil for deep frying
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add wheat flour, salt, ghee, turmeric & red chilli powder mix well.
- Add water knead it make soft dough, Add white sesame seeds mix well.
- Then cover it & leave it for 15 to 20 min.
- Sprinkle flour & roll out into thick chapatti.
- Cut into small square or diamond shapes & leave it for 5 min.
- Heat oil in a pan then put raw shakarpara deep fry till golden brown & crisp on low to medium hot oil [Apr x 3 to 4 min].
- When it is ready remove it from oil & drain on an absorbent paper & let it cool.
- Store it in an airtight container and use within 5 days.
