Sago keasri-How to make step by step photos and video

Sago kesari is instant, delicious, non-sticky sweet. No long time procedure required. Perfect bright sweet without milk. We can replace white sugar with jaggery. You can add coconut milk for different flavour. You can add condnesed milk and grated coconut. For sago laddu, saute sago for extea 5 min. Once its ready, let it cool for 3 min then make balls.
Ingredients
- Sago [sabudana, javvarisi] -1 cup
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Ghee - 3 tbsp
- Cardamom Powder- 1 tbsp
- Cashew nuts - 9
- Raisins - 6
Preparation
- Wash and soak sago for 5 hours the ndrain water
- Heat ghee in a pan ,add cashews ,raisins saute till light brown
- In the same pan, add sago, saute for 3 min
- Then cover it, cook for min
- Add sugar, orange red food color, saute till it thickens or the mixture start leaving the pan
- Sprinkle cardamom powder mix well. Cover lid & cut off heat then leave it for 4 min.
- Then add 2 tbsp of ghee mix well.
- Garnish with roasted raisins, almonds, pistachios and Cashew nuts then serve hot

Sago kesari
In a bowl add sago
Add water, soak it for 5 hours
Soaked sago ready
Heat pan, add 2 tbsp ghee
Add cashews and raisins
Add soaked sago and 1 tbsp ghee, saute for 3 min
Cover it, leave it for 5 min
Saute for 2 min
Add sugar
Cook ftill it thickens
Add orange food color
Stir well
Stir gently
Almost ready
Add cardamom powder
Add saute ingredients
Sago kesari ready, cut off heat
