Ingredients
- Kambu maavu [bajra flour] - 1 cup
- Rice flour - 1cup
- Gram flour - 1 cup
- Ghee- 1 tbsp
- Ajwain - 1.5 tbsp
- Sesame seeds -1 tbsp
- oil for deep frying
- Hing -1 tsp
- Red chilli powder -1 tsp
- Water as required
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add rice flour, Kambu maavu [bajra flour], Gram flour , asafoetida, Ghee, salt, Ajwain, Sesame seeds , Red chilli powder mix well
- Add water, make soft dough
- Place handful dough in a murukku kuzhal, squeeze over the oil, deep fry till crisp on medium hot oil.
- You can use 4 shapes.
- Flip over & fry another side.
- Once it ready or the oil sound disappears then take it out & drain on absorbent paper.
- Leave it for room temperature [Apr. 2 min]. Then store in an airtight container
