How to make Moongdal rava vada in 15 min video
Ingredients
- Moong dal - 1 cup
- Rava- 3 tbsp
- Rice flour - 1 tbsp
- Onion - 1
- Curry leaves - 2 spring
- Coraidner leaves -1 spring
- Ginger- 1 inch piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Green chilli - 1
- Cumin - 1 tsp
- Fennel -1 tsp
- Dry red chilli - 1 or 2
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
Oil for deep frying
Preparation Method
- Wash and soak moong dal for 2 to 3 hours.
- Then drain water completely
- In a mixie jar add ginger, garlic, green chilli, cumin, fennel , dry red chilli coarsely grind
- Add soaked moong dal, salt coarsely grind without water
- Add rava, rice flour mix well
- Add onion, curry, coriander leaves, mix well
- Divie the mixture into equal size balls, flatten gently
- Heat oil in a pan, drop it, deep fry until crisp and godlen brown on medium hot oil
- Once its ready, drain on absorbent paper
- serve hot with tea or sauce
