Ingredients
- Wheat flour - 2 cups
- Rava -3 tbsp
- Ghee -2 tbsp
- Carom seeds -1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder -1 tbsp
- Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
- Oil for deep frying
Preparation Method
- In a bowl add Wheat flour, Rava, Ghee,Carom seeds, Red chilli powder, Pepper powder,Asafoetida, salt mxi well
- Add water, knead it to make semi-soft dough, cover it, keep it aside for 20 min
- Divide the dough into equal size balls
- Rollout into thin sheet, cut into rectangle shape, then make markings in the middle, then stick edges 2 times then make leaf shape
- Heat oil in a pan, drop it deep fry until crisp and godlen brown on low-medium flame
- Once its ready, drain on absorbent paper, let it cool, store in an airtight container, use within 2 weeks
